Title: Caster assembly for suitcases and the like

Abstract: A caster assembly adapted for incorporation in the frame of a suitcase, the caster assembly comprising a caster housing with a housing recess enclosing a major portion of the swivelable caster wheel, housing side walls limiting its swivel range, and a swivel bearing with a stationary journal plate attachable to the bottom wall of the caster housing by means of a slot-engaging protrusion and rivets. The caster housing may be an integral part of the suitcase frame.
