The drink permits replacement of essential body constituents lost as a result of metabolic processes. The composition comprises Na⁺, K⁺, Mg²+, Cl^-, SO₄²-, PO₄²-, citrate, sucrose, dextrose, ascorbic acid and pyridoxine.
