Title:
Fast closing switch system
Abstract:
A thyristor switch system completes a circuit with a much higher rate of current rise than a thyristor alone is capable of delivering. The invention limits the current through the load during the "priming" period of the thyristor that precedes the application of a high current pulse through the load.
