Title: Germicidal composition for agriculture and horticulture

Abstract: A germicidal composition which contains 2-(2-hydroxyethylamino)-3-benzoylpropionates or salts thereof as an active ingredient has excellent control effects for the agricultural and horticultural plants diseases, especially for apple canker and the powdery mildews of various plants. Said composition does little damage to the plants and has extremely weak toxicity to man and beast.
