Abstract: A device for gripping tired wheels of a vehicle comprises, for each wheel, a pair of arms articulated at one end and provided with a suspension point, and a gripping device located at their other ends for engagement with the tire tread on each side of its ground engaging part, the gripping device including gripping limbs movable towards and away from each other for engaging or releasing the tire on opposite sides.
