Abstract: Dried bittersweet root bark is combined with crystalline zinc chloride to form a salve which is topically applied to remove unwanted growths from the skin. The salve comprises an admixture of a major volumetric proportion of root bark with a minor volumetric proportion of zinc chloride crystals.
