Abstract: A toy figurine capable of clinging to a support, and a process for manufacturing same. The body of the figurine is of compressible resilient material and the limbs are sufficiently rigidly connected to said body to follow deformations thereof and to open when it is nipped in the back. Body and limbs may be formed of one piece of material or may be a composite. The clinging limbs may be biased by using a film of prestressed material secured to a slab of resiliently deformable material. The prestressed material may be made of superposed strips which have been stretched to varying degrees, or of a layer of thermoretractable material. The figurine may be a hand puppet with an opening to admit the user's hand into the head while the puppet is clinging to the user's arm.
