Title: Oxygen tank holding device for wheelchairs

Abstract: A wheelchair comprising a support frame of two oppositely disposed sides includes a holding device for supporting an oxygen tank thereon. The holding device includes a hollow cylinder having an open top end and a bottom end closed by a movable disk. The cylinder includes a mounting bracket for releasably attaching the cylinder to the spaced upwardly extending pins on the wheelchair frame which conventionally is used to mount detachable foot rests. The cylinder can be reversed from one side of the wheelchair to the other by inverting the cylinder.
