Title: Bird feeder

Abstract: A bird feeder having an opened topped hemispherical bird feed container suspended below a hemispherical cover which extends laterally beyond the perimeter of the container, the suspension for the container being pivotally mounted closely adjacent the innermost central portion of the hemispherical cover whereby upon tilting of the cover, at least the lowermost portion of the cover will overlap the adjacent portion of the container.
