Abstract: An apparatus for preventing or damping vibrations and noise in a vehicle, in which the vibration-transmitting characteristics of two or more mount units in an engine mounting member and/or a body mounting member of a vehicle are changed relatively, so that the vibrations or sounds produced due to vibrations which have been transmitted from an engine via mount units to a vehicle body may be off-set or mutually counteracted, thereby damping or preventing vibrations and noise in a vehicle body.
