Title: Modular pig cage assembly

Abstract: The present invention relates to a modular cage unit or assembly for confining animals such as pigs, and wherein in a preferred embodiment the modular cage assembly of the present invention as used to confine pigs forms two approximately four feet by four feet pen areas for confining a litter of pigs. The modular cage units are adapted to be stacked one over the other to form a vertical section of cages, and like vertical sections are preferably connected together in side-by-side relationship to form a plurality of horizontally aligned and vertically stacked modular cages assemblies.
