Abstract: Alkaline dishwasher detergent composition having a specific critical pH; a specific mixture of alkali metal silicates for corrosion prevention, improved spotting and filming, and improved processing and physical characteristics; and having a relatively high level of surfactant. The detergent composition is substantially free of highly alkaline materials and organic builders.
