Title: Benzodioxane herbicides

Abstract: Novel compounds are disclosed having the formula ##STR1## in which R and R.sub.1 are independently selected from the group consisting of alkoxy having from 1 to 6 carbon atoms, preferably from 1 to 3 carbon atoms and more preferably methoxy, cycloalkyl having from 3 to 6 carbon atoms, preferably cyclopropyl and alkyl having from 1 to 6 carbon atoms, preferably having 1 to 3 carbon atoms and more preferably ethyl, which are useful as herbicides.
