Title: Sealed housings for a subminiature piezoelectric vibrator

Abstract: A housing for a subminiature piezoelectric quartz crystal vibrator element, in which a glass substrate has a recess formed in an upper surface thereof, the subminiature quartz crystal vibrator element being supported such as to be positioned within a periphery of the recess in the upper surface and separated by fixed distances from surfaces of the recess, a cover is disposed upon the glass substrate to hermetically seal the quartz crystal vibrator element between the cover and the glass substrate.
