Abstract: An end fitting in the form of a head for a cargo-retaining bar of the type used with a belt rail to restrain or support cargo against shifting or movement in a truck, railroad car or the like. The end fitting includes a coupling apparatus adapted to be received in a retaining slot formed in a belt rail attached to the inner walls of the cargo vehicle.
