Title: License plate lock box assembly

Abstract: A license plate lock box assembly which is adapted to be secured about, preferably, the rear license plate of a motor vehicle. The assembly comprises a holding means adapted to be secured to the motor vehicle, a transparent cover plate adapted to cover and enclose the license plate, and a locking means adapted to releasably lock the cover plate to the holding means. The cover plate includes a horizontal slot through which notices of traffic violations may be inserted and retained in the assembly.
