Title: Golf putting training apparatus

Abstract: An electronic golf putting training apparatus including a first and second pivotally retractable sensor extending through the surface thereof flanking an imaginary golf ball for contacting points relative the heel and toe on the face of a golf club swung at the imaginary ball, the first and second sensors for actuating first and second switches substantially on contact with the club and for actuating third and fourth switches, respectively, a preset distance later, and circuitry connected to the first and second switches for actuating an angle right light if the first switch was actuated before the second indicating a ball, if struck, would have traveled right and for actuating an angle left light otherwise. In another embodiment, the apparatus also includes circuitry for measuring the elapse of time between the closure of the switches for calculating and displaying the angle and distance the imaginary ball would have traveled, whether it would have gone into an imaginary cup, and whether the club was accelerating when it actuated the sensors.
