Title: Decorative drop ceiling

Abstract: A decorative drop ceiling including a panel having a plurality of openings therein disposed between a source of light and an area to be illuminated. A light transmissive lens is disposed in each of the openings. Each lens has a predetermined thickness dimension, which is not dictated by the thickness of the panel. The lower face of each lens is co-planar with the lower surface of the panel. The periphery of the lens is recessed, and fasteners, disposed in the recess, fix the lens in the opening.
