Abstract: Succinic acid esters of -4,5-dihydro-3(2H)-pyridazinones of the formula ##STR1## where R.sub.1 is hydrogen or halo having an atomic weight of from 19 to 36, and R.sub.2 is hydrogen, chloro or lower alkyl having 1 to 4 carbon atoms Are useful as central nervous system depressants, in particular, as muscle relaxants.
