Abstract: O-alkyl-O-[5-substituted-pyrimidin(4)yl]-(thiono)(thiol)-phosphoric (phosphonic) acid esters of the formula ##STR1## in which R and R.sup.2 each independently is alkyl, R.sup.1 is hydrogen or alkyl, R.sup.3 is alkyl, alkoxy, alkylthio or phenyl, and X and Y each independently is oxygen or sulfur, Which possess arthropodicidal properties.
