Title: Diaphragm cells

Abstract: A device for supporting a sheet diaphragm on to a surface of a cathode which is made of a flexible insulating material and which can be caused or allowed to expand into the space between the anode and the diaphragm so that the diaphragm is pressed into contact with the cathode.
