Title: Wire clamping element

Abstract: A wire insulation piercing clamping element is formed of punched out flat sheet stock having two wire clamping slots separated by a common center post, each of the slots having clamping areas of different width, the clamping areas defined at throat openings thereto by contours forming insulation piercing edges.
