Abstract: Anti-inflammatory agent comprises an active ingredient of benzoyl derivative having the formula ##STR1## WHEREIN R.sub.1 represents hydrogen, halogen, hydroxy, C.sub.1-8 alkyl or C.sub.1-8 alkoxy, R.sub.2 represents hydrogen, halogen, hydroxy, vinyl, C.sub.1-8 alkyl or C.sub.1-8 alkoxy, A represents carbonyl, methylene or a single bond, and n is an integer of 1 to 4.
