Title: Case for portable sewing machines

Abstract: A compact and lightweight case for a portable sewing machine has a hollow rectangular base which receives and is secured to the bed of a sewing machine and a cover which rests on the base and surrounds those parts of the machine which extend above the bed. One of such parts has a handle which extends outwardly through an opening in the top wall of the cover so that the case can be lifted through the medium of the sewing machine by lifting the machine by way of the handle.
