Abstract: A paper or cardboard coating composition comprising an aqueous dispersion containing binder and pigment in which 5-30 percent by weight of the pigment are particles dimensioned within the range of 0.05-0.3 microns of a non-film forming synthetic polymer and in which 70-95 percent by weight of the pigment is calcium carbonate.
