Title: Insecticidal active thiophene phosphorous derivatives

Abstract: Thiophene phosphorous derivatives and their use as insecticides are described herein. The compounds are defined by the following formula: ##STR1## wherein R is a lower alkyl group having from 1 to 4 carbon atoms and R.sub.1 is selected from lower alkyl and lower alkoxy having from 1 to 4 carbon atoms.
