Title: Energized cobalt-containing animal feed

Abstract: An animal feed supplement containing cobalt in polarized form enhances the efficient utilization of protein by ruminant animals and promotes their growth. In a preferred form, the supplement consists essentially of the reaction product of cobalt carbonate and lactic acid admixed with a diatomaceous earth and a sacchariferous substance.
