Abstract: A furniture combination including an article of furniture, such as a seat or table, pivotally attached to a support in a manner such that the article may be elevated above the floor to permit cleaning of the floor area below the article. The article may be retained in elevated position during cleaning by mechanical latch means or by friction or gravity. The furniture support may be another article of furniture, such as a seat, table, or bar.
