Title: Resilient railway wheel

Abstract: A rubber-suspended railway wheel having a highly-prestressed rubber insert embedded in facing annular grooves formed in the wheel rim and in the wheel tire and wherein, in order to restrict the extent of axial movement between the wheel tire and wheel rim, a shoulder of the annular groove of the wheel rim overlaps a shoulder of the annular groove of the wheel tire.
