Title: Pencil sharpener

Abstract: A pencil sharpener having a base on which a sharpening assembly, including sharpening rollers, is mounted, a housing defined by a hollow figure formed of a flexible, deformable material and simulating the head of an animal enveloping the sharpening assembly, and a member being mounted for rotating movement with the sharpening assembly interiorly of the hollow figure and being engageable with the interior surfaces of the hollow figure, so that upon rotation of the sharpening assembly, the member distorts the simulated animal head to produce the effect that the simulated animal head is chewing the pencil during the pencil sharpening operation.
