Title: Uniform land length die

Abstract: A die is internal for forming shapes of polygonal cross-section, which has all internal surfaces which are parallel to the die axis of equal length. The die is primarily used in hydrostatic extrusion. It can be made in two parts for ease in cleaning. A billet having a pointed, faceted nose for use with the die is also disclosed.
