Title: System for recording the actuation of remotely located locking devices

Abstract: A system for providing a record of each time any one of a plurality of remotely located locking devices is operated, as well as the number of the key used for each lock actuation. The disclosed system includes means located at each secured premises for sensing the actuation of the lock and the number of the actuation key; means for automatically telephoning to a central office the key number as well as a code which identifies the reporting facility; and means at the central office for recording this data and its time of receipt, and for providing a printout thereof.
