Pivot sprinkler
Abstract:
A pivot sprinkler incorporating an elongate irrigation pipe having a plurality of sprinklers thereon for irrigating a land area. The pipe is supported by a plurality of spaced supporting towers each of which is provided with supporting wheels and a drive mechanism. One end of the pipe is rotatably supported from and connected to a standpipe with control means being provided for retaining the support towers generally in aligned condition with the elongate pipe extending through the rotational center and forming rotational support for a drive wheel on each of the towers.
