Title: Electrolytic pen

Abstract: A display and/or marking pen for use with an electrolytic type ink effective when subjected to an electric current to change color. The improved pen has activating electrodes strategically disposed adjacent the ink discharge orifice designed to create the desired color changing current as the ink passes therethrough. In one embodiment, the pen consists of an electrode pair arranged in concentric fashion while in a second embodiment, a multiple electrode arrangement provides a pen having multiple stylii.
