Title: Production of cephalosporin C

Abstract: A new process for the production of Cephalosporin C (CPC) in which a polyene-antibiotics-resistant mold of the genus Cephalosporium is employed and an increased yield is attained. Cpc is an antibiotic and also useful as a starting material for the synthesis of Cephalosporin-group antibiotics.
