Title: Master cylinder diaphragm

Abstract: A cover apparatus for a master cylinder reservoir which has a diaphragm with an expandable surface. A check valve is located in an opening in the expandable surface to limit the pressure differential created thereacross by air at atmospheric pressure on one side thereof and vacuum in the reservoir on the other side thereof upon a depletion of fluid from the reservoir. With a change in the pressure differential, the expandable surface will be prevented from moving into the fluid and influencing the output from a fluid level indicator located therein.
