Title: Stabilizer composition for dyestuffs

Abstract: A stabilizer compound for dyestuffs is prepared by reacting a quaternary heterocyclic nitrogeneous compound and an azo derivative. The reaction is carried out in a non-acid medium. The stabilizers produced from the condensation reaction hereof can be subsequently reacted with suitable dye forming or coupling compounds to form a dyestuff. Dyestuffs produced hereby are useful in dyeing both natural or cellulosic fibers as well as synthetic fibers. The products hereof are useful as printing compositions and evidence excellent shelf life.
