Title: Taco shell cooking apparatus

Abstract: Taco shell forming and cooking apparatus comprising a cooking bath, a mesh conveyor belt for carrying a tortilla through the cooking bath, a plurality of wedge-shaped forming members disposed above the bath and guide means for causing the forming members to sequentially engage the conveyor belt and deform the tortilla and tortilla-carrying portions of the belt into a taco shell configuration. The forming mechanism is driven by an electric motor and in turn drives the conveyor belt as the forming members engage and deform the belt.
