Title: Skin engaging means for an electric dry shaver

Abstract: An electric dry shaver having skin engaging bar assemblies arranged at opposite sides of the cutter head assembly for tensioning or flattening the skin in advance of the cutter head. Means are provided for mounting the bar assemblies for movement transverse of the longitudinal axis of the cutter head to selected positions relative to the hair reception slots with control and actuator means spaced from the cutter head and operable from without the casing for effecting simultaneous movement of the bar assemblies.
