Abstract: This invention relates to self-supporting, water-resistant explosive comptions composed essentially entirely of explosively active ingredients and methods for making same. The compositions consist essentially of a particulate high explosive and a high viscosity nitrocellulose binder plasticized with TMETN (trimethylolethane trinitrate) without the use of other plasticizers.
