Title: Method for controlling the operation of two-speed, refrigerant motor compressors

Abstract: A method is disclosed for controlling the operation of a two speed electrical motor used to drive a hermetic refrigerant compressor so as to attain an overall motor compressor efficiency at low speed operation which is equal to or greater than the overall motor compressor efficiency at high speed operation.
