Title: Transport torque and tension measurement device

Abstract: A device for measuring transport torques and tensions of magnetic video tape record/reproduce units includes a cartridge with a housing that is preferably similar to that of a normal video tape cartridge. Two reels are rotatably disposed in the housing and are provided with torque and tension measuring components in order that measurement of the torque and tensions of a record/reproduce unit may be readily performed upon loading the cartridge in the unit.
