Title: Hydraulic system

Abstract: A hydraulic system comprises an electrically controlled actuator element operable to initiate delivery of liquid. The system also includes a movable member the movement of which is representative of the amount of liquid delivered and sensing means is provided for detecting movement of the member. The sensing means provides a control signal which is arranged to effect a change in the state of the actuator element when the required quantity of liquid has been delivered.
