Title: Process for making barbed material

Abstract: A process for making barbed material without scrap loss. The first step in manufacture is slitting the edge of the material to form points. The points are then bent to an exposed position by tractive magnetic means. As an additional step the pointed portions can be further displaced away from the edge by elongating or twisting the material.
