Abstract: The invention provides a pelletted cedar-based composition comprising particles of cedar material and an alfalfa binder. Pellets comprising this composition are characterized by a pleasant odor, durability, and good adsorption, and odor neutralizing characteristics; such pellets, produced from material with known insect repellant characteristics, have particular utility as an animal litter.
