Title: Method of making spout construction for use in liquid containers

Abstract: A spout for attachment to a liquid container including a pair of interconnected complementary spout elements formed of a base material, a protective plating being applied to the inside surface of each spout element prior to the joining thereof into the assembled spout, thereby avoiding any possible harmful effects that might have resulted from contact of the liquid with the base material when the liquid is poured through the spout.
