Abstract: Toothpaste containing sodium bicarbonate as the principal abrasive and a lesser amount of another compatible abrasive. Examples of these are chalk, silica, alumina, zirconium silicate of sodium aluminosilicate, or a mixture thereof, said other abrasive constituting at least about 3% of the toothpaste.
